BleeD is proud to present an exclusive launch for Untold's '"Black Light Spiral" LP, released on February 24th. The show will feature a debut a/v set from Untold, as well as a headline DJ set, back to back with 2562 for the first time. This will also be your first chance to see 2562's new a/v set, alongside visual artist Heleen Blanken. DJ duties will also be provided by the meteorically rising Vester Koza and a special guest.

UNTOLD | Jack Dunning’s production work as Untold has reinvigorated the climate of dancefloors around the globe. From dubstep influenced influenced head-spinners such as 'Stop What You're Doing' and 'Anaconda' (both on Hessle), to the techno informed 'Change In A Dynamic Environment' triumvirate, his journey has been one of endless invention and refinement.
After a further experiment into techno on Modeselektor’s 50 Weapons label, Dunning is gearing up to finally release his debut album on his own Hemlock Recordings. Entitled ‘Black Light Spiral’ the album is scheduled for February 2014 and will be accompanied by a debut live show at Autumn Street Studios. Drawing on his past experiences in Jungle and Hardcore, his ground breaking work in bass music and his more recent forays into 4x4, the album marks a seminal point in the career of Untold – delivering on his mission to break new ground with each step.
SPECIAL REQUEST | can be revealed as our special guest for the show. The new alias for house/techno stalwart Paul Woolford, is inspired by the unruly conventions of UK pirate radio, fusing the energy of the hardcore and jungle wonder years with modern production techniques and a seriously heavy aesthetic to produce a series of productions spanning murky house through to darkside techno to chaotic/eye-of-the-storm hardcore/jungle tear-outs. The results are incendiary, as best expressed by his Houndstooth full-length, 'Soul Music'.
2562 | will be making the UK debut performance of his new live set, alongside renowned visual artist Heleen Blanken. An Amsterdam based artist, Blanken is a resident VJ at Trouw in addition to showcasing her surreal yet appealing atmospheres in her own short films and installations for festivals, galleries and theatres.
Also known for his A Made Up Sound project, Dave '2562' Huismans is one of the most innovative and respected artists operating in the landscape of broken rhythmic music, with his unique productions characterised by off-time percussion, crazed sampling and field recordings. After a string of influential album- and 12"-releases on labels like Tectonic and 3024 he started his own imprint When In Doubt, which so far saw him release his disco-deconstructionist 'Fever' lp and traveldiary of sorts 'Air Jordan'.
We'll also be treated to a back-to-back DJ set from 2562 and Untold, the first time they have ever performed together.
VESTER KOZA | is the London based producer behind Maslo. It's rare that an artist makes such a rapid rise off the back of a small handful of EPs, let alone when they're self-released and as subtle as they come, but that's exactly what has happened in his case. His sound is equal parts deep, hypnotic, restrained and textural, and the same can be said for his well-considered DJ sets. We expect to see him topping bills before long.
