Time to welcome 2 of our favourite selectors to the Pool Hall...
Nic aka Tasker; Boiler Room team mate and Principle of Principals is one of the finest selectors in the country at the moment. An alumni of Young Turks, Tasker approaches the art of Djing with a level of skill and maturity that belies his age. His new label, 'whities' is set to drop it's first release very soon. The track, by German duo Terron, has already received extensive play from the likes of Benji B and Jamie XX. We're very excited to have Nic back in the Rhythm Section for the third time.
Joining Nic and Bradley Zero is the Glaswegian staple that is Teamy. Teamy, although now based in Nunhead, runs the label and club night Wrong Island Communications - which put out a number of very exciting EP's last year and is set to step things up even further this year. As well as running the label and club night from excile in SE London, Teamy is also one of the few people in the capital who is a full time Dj in the truest sense. Teamy holds down the decks at the South Place Hotel 7 nights a week and has invited a few of his friends to come along and play. These friends happen to include Ricardo Villalobos, Optimo, Horse Meat Disco and SubCulture - not bad eh?
A keen advocate of TAPS AFF, Teamy isn't one to hold back and we're super excited to see how they get down north of the border here in Peckham. Let's hope Kieran doesn't take issue with a bit of mild male nudity!
