- Various Vegetables 2nd Anniversary TWO YEARS OF AUDIO AGRICULTURE: Welly welly welly well. Look at the time! It’s been two years since the first Veg seed was planted at Naherholung Sternchen and our collective Veg have grown strong roots in the soily Berlin underground. We’re proud to have hosted a total of eighteen regular events with over 63 visiting artists, and there’s some symbiotic mycelium branching out into the world of radio on Future Music FM where we’ve created six amazing shows to date. It’s been a hell of a trip thus far, so let’s go back to the scene of the crime again on 22nd February in Naherholung Sternchen. We’ll be revisiting elements of our very first show by inviting back two artists that introduced the Veg to Berlin via the twisted bass and intricate beats of Phlex (a.k.a. Ziggy) and our Audio/Visual hero VJ Chuuu. Joining our virginal veterans will be ambient guru Amber126, Pure Data wizard Die Blutige Hand and some artists we’ve been scheming to have perform at Veg for very a long time. We’re shipping over three artists from the UK so we can collectively experience the new noise/hardware improv of ZPG, the vocal/electronic beats of Meljoann and the crisp acid/bass productions of wAgAwAgA. (Rumours of an androgynous fetishised Scout Hardcastle live set are as of yet to be confirmed) We’re sticking to our roots and staying at 5 bucks entry each, just to show we care about empoverished electronic fiends (you). xx Thanks to all who attended, played at and helped out at all of our events so far, you are nutritious.
