Parkside returns to Sydney’s deepest speakerbox with an international double header setting a high standard for the year to follow. We’re proud to welcome Belgian house-meister SAN SODA and rising figure DAMIANO VON ERCKERT for a night of dance music’s past, present and hopeful future.

Hailing from Belgium’s reckless house scene since his teens, San Soda’s omnipresent groove was the catalyst for Red D’s Lets Play House label, on which he’s exclusively released a slew of EPs that take house music’s rich history with a distinctly current edge. His relationship with WPH hit the next level with 2012’s re-imagining of the E.S.P classic ‘It’s You’ – a beatless, highly sought after Panorama Bar inspired take which traded for thousands by resellers and was played by countless top-tier DJs at the peak of their sets.
Behind the turntables, San Soda dips into generations of clublands finest hits and unknown gems, turning dancefloors from Mexico’s BPM, Manchesters Warehouse Project and Berlin’s infamous Berghain into heaving history lessons and predictions as part of the next wave of house heroes.

DAMIANO VON ERCKERT (Ava Recordings / DE)
Raised by a 90s house and blackmusic DJ, Damiano Von Erckert is a machine crafting artesian dancefloors with classic house, disco, techno, soul and funk ingredients. Founding his own label ‘Ava’ in 2011, the imprint has already lived up to their model serving irresistible house-centric cuts including a slew from Erckert himself and Murat Tapeli’s irresistible Hold Me Touch Me. A rising figure in Europe’s club scene, expect the name to crop up often after-the-fact.
