I can't believe how time flies. So we are one year in at Beatnik HQ and what a year it has been with so many highlights. Starting last April with the DC10 giants that are System of Survival to more local names such as Darius Syrossian hitting our decks with style and vigour. The year has been a learning curve for our team at Beatnik but one thing we have learned is that Manchester has so many good independent nights out there that its tough to crack. With the support from our three outstanding resident DJ's MissB, Lewis Jenkins and Fox Particles alongside our awesome visuals man Wilson Logon it has been possible to make an indent on this fantastic cites music scene. We would all like to thank you all for supporting us this year as we couldn't have done it without you coming down and partying with us. Moving on throughout the year we want to make an even bigger dent in this city and we hope you will join us in celebrating the first step with none other that YOUSEF!!!!
Yousef is a complete force within house music. More so than many of his peers, he has become to represent the complete ethos of the modern DJ, absorbing a litany of responsibilities and roles alongside the primary goal of DJ, that of sharing music with others. Now proudly in its second decade of activity, it has quickly become one of the most important soirees of its kind in Europe, patenting a formula that combines the established alongside the future stars of the underground. As well as putting on every icon of the industry worth seeing (stand up Carl Cox, Ricardo Vilalobos, Sven Vath, Richie Hawtin, Sasha, Marco Carola and many more) it has been instrumental in the early and developing careers of Jamie Jones, Eats Everything, Loco Dice, Maya Jane Coles, Seth Troxler and Davide Squillace
