A native Montrealer, she launched her career in 1998 and released her first mix CD "Confidence" in 2001, earning her praise both at home and abroad. Since then, she’s become a player on the international scene while continuing to organize and promote local events. She is also label partner of Pronto Musique and Release The Pressure with producer, Miguel Graça. Her sophisticated style, refined track selection, and tight mixing skills define her signature sound, while her love of the dance floor drives her musical intuition wherever she plays. She is a regular guest at Piknic Electronik, and played Igloofest in 2010. She performed at Montreal’s International Jazz Festival, FCMM’s Media Lounge, BBCM’s Red Party, and was the musical programmer for Quebec’s prestigious Gala Des Oliviers. Internationally, she’s been heard bringing down the house at prestigious clubs like Club der visionnares (Berlin), The Marcy Hotel and Bunker (NYC), Batofar and Nouveau Casino (Paris), Weetamix (Geneva), MetroDance club (Spain), and held down a monthly residency at Rome’s club Hulala in Italy. One of the first international guests at La Santanerra in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, she left her indelible mark at this year’s BPM Festival. ******** NITIN https://soundcloud.com/djnitin Nitin co-founded the No. 19 label with partner Jonny White of Art Department and has been a key player in the recent explosion of the Toronto scene. Nitin has found himself at the forefront of a new wave of music, and his musical concept saw critical acclaim with releases and remixes from legends DJ Sneak, Osunlade, Stacey Pullen, Jamie Jones, Soul Clap and Maceo Plex. His DJ career has taken him to Ultra Music Festival, WMC, and the BPM Festival in Playa del Carmen. Recent performances in the U.S have been at some of the best underground parties and clubs – Cielo (NYC), Output (Brooklyn), Treehouse (Miami), Sound Nightclub & The Standard Rooftop (Los Angeles) and TV Bar (Detroit). Also touring extensively throughout South America playing some of the continents best clubs - D-Edge & Warung in Brazil, Baum in Bogota Colombia and Lost Beach in Montanita, Ecuador, and tour stops in Peru, and Argentina. Recently Nitin has been touring Europe with Art Department and other No.19 artists for label showcases as well as on his own playing some of Europe’s legendary clubs, namely Panorama Bar (Berlin), Fabric (London), Zero (Lisbon), Showcase (Paris) & Nordstern (Basel). Nitin’s productions have been getting plays from many of the worlds top house & techno DJ’s with remixes and originals on My Favorite Robot Records and on his own No.19 Imprint. ********** ADRIATIQUE https://soundcloud.com/adriatique Adrian & Adrian, two guys from Zurich started off with music just like everyone else by trying several instruments and scratching on grandfather’s turntable, nothing special about that. Both were born in the mid 80’s when the techno and house community was rising to the top. 90’s dance, hip-hop & house stuff influenced one of them. The other half was more into melodic sounds and Europe based techno. On the road as solo artists they met in 2008, found mutual connection with their interpretations and became dj & production partners. Harmony between Dj-ing, performance and immediate contact with the people makes a good to a "better" dj. The self-proclaimed brothers have a sensible feeling for the Clubheads, dance-a-holics and all the others, for which "music" means attitude not just a word. They love to mix up different styles to make their sets intensive, diversified and unique. Almost poetic, comparable with an exciting story. Adriatique are also featured on the highly anticipated second Release from Diynamic’s Sublabel 2DIY4. In addition to their musical-work & busy club-schedule Adriatique have their monthly based event series „Moving Around Us“ in Zurich which has grown to a meeting point for international guests, local talent, music & art. ********** Thugfucker https://soundcloud.com/thugfucker Former international aid worker teams up with Icelandic security specialist and former top model to create an international DJ supergroup. Certainly not what you'd expect from a group called Thugfucker - but then Greg Oreck and Holmar Filipsson often do tend to defy expectations. In New York, unbeknownst to each other, Holmar and Greg propelled themselves along similar paths, throwing parties, honing their musical & studio skills and searching out inspiration from a wide variety of musical sources. Then one late night, in a cloudy alcohol fueled discussion about the plight of the genetically Rhythm-Blind, Thugfucker was born. With “releases like "Disco Gnome" (2011) and “Morgana” and “Step Aside” with label mates Tale of Us, their tracks have received widespread club play, gone #1 on Beatport charts, and have been named an “essential” track by Pete Tong. In the meantime Thugfucker have been busy traveling the globe playing extended sets at some of the best clubs and parties worldwide. From Burning Man to Panorama Bar to Fabric to BPM and Sonar and Coachella to DC10, Output, Katerholzig and many more. If you haven't partied with them yet then you probably haven't been trying hard enough to have a good time. Greg is also a co-founder of Life and Death alongside partners Manfredi Romano (DJ Tennis) and Matteo Milleri (from Tale of Us). Holmar has also just founded a new label called YAH! with co-conspirators James Healy and Pete Sung. More artists TBA!
