Banana Hill, GET RAD, Creative Arts Development Space (CADS) and Party For The People come together to bring you a night of live analogue electronic sounds, with all proceeds going to the Sumbi Beach Project, who raise money for entirely sustainable community projects in Malawi.
The setting is the amazing and unique 'Great Hall', formerly the main room of the newly revamped DLS complex, which should bring back fond memories for a lot of you. We will also be bringing in a full soundsystem and visuals for this event.

Golden Teacher
Golden Teacher began as a studio collaboration between noise punk trio Ultimate Thrush and all analogue house duo, Silk Cut. After catching the ear of Optimo head JD Twitch, they released the wild and wholly original "Bells From The Deep End" EP at the beginning of last year. "Do Not Go Gently Into That Good Night" followed at the end of July, which Twitch describes as "Fourth World freakouts, combining analogue circuitry with psychedelically effected played percussion and chanting". Anyone who was at The Audacious Art Experiment at the end of August last year attests to the frenzy that ensued when they played for Bat Makumba, and we couldn't be more happy to welcome the band back to Sheffield ahead of a busy summer festival schedule and a forthcoming release.
Blood Sport
Sheffield based Blood Sport fuse numerous styles to create a chaotic and life-affirming brand of music. Taking heavy influence from afrobeat, soukous, noise and post punk, their debut EP "Life In Units" has started to gain them the attention they deserve. For this show, they will be arranging a special dance orientated set, which we're stupidly excited about.

This local three-piece create ethereal looped electronica whilst maintaining a subtle groove. We've been wanting to book these guys for a long time!
