Our notion is to plot a sound that will consistently transport our listeners and followers to a unique place that only club music can. A distant planet only accessible through the portal of quality sound pressed to the finest form of delivery know to mankind, vinyl. ___________________________________ Planetary Notions is a brand new record label and club night that aims to promote and release dance floor driven house and techno. Headed by a trio of music aficionados with years of industry experience behind them, Planetary Notions aims to cater for both DJs and listeners alike, through delivering high-quality music in its most desirable form: 140 gram vinyl. April 18 see’s the label step into the spotlight for the first time with an event that runs alongside the labels debut release ‘Green Aid EP’ out April 7. The labels inaugural release comes from the hotly-tipped London producer and headliner for the evening Joe Rolét, who’s debut perfectly encapsulates the labels ethos of delivering bass-laced custom-built club music for those that know or those seeking to discover. Making up the rest of the line-up will be Elijah Bailey and Azire two artists set to release on Planetary Notions in the not so distant future and expect some serious cosmic boogie as these two play b2b for the opening 4 hours. After over a year in the making Planetary Notions is delighted to finally invite you to the labels opening chapter. Think all things dub techno with a slice of cosmic housey grooves, in an underground venue packed full of our favorite people and powered by Funktion One.
