Electronic music and video technology cemented the basis of 2014 Sound Department winter format. We want to listen to artists in their being eclectic, setting them free from the rules of the thousand people-dancefloor, to let them feel free to express their art at best at these latitudes. We just wanna tell you a story mingled in the night of a club in which there is just one storyteller : the artist. We’re not inviting you to a club or to a night in a discotheque, but we’re inviting you to be a part of our tale, to write it with us. The moral of this tale will not only be impressed in our minds, but all the feelings of the 200 lucky audience will be relived in high definition on our own hard drives.

After founding together (and with Herve Corti) the pre-apocalyptic experimental project Tru West for Marmo Music Recordings, it`s now time for Nightdrivers, a mix of house and techno characterized by mpc, quirky sound effects, mysterious and spooky melodic parts and striking 909/808 rhythm programming.
MARTINO RECCHIA bio:
Since the start of his career in 1999, M@rtino's mastered a fresh musical universe packed with diverse genres. Backed by his melodic flair and passion for nightlife, he's DJed in some of Italy's most elite clubs.
Coming from the small southern town of Monopoli, he rapidly gathered fame in the local scene. He's gone on to headline top parties at such venues as Rashomon in Rome, Tenax in Florence, Duel Beat in Naples and Wasabi in Bari.
M@rtino manages to create a special connection with his audience, being an animated presence in the DJ box that delivers on music and emotion.
Martino’s sound is influenced by a plethora of musical disciplines. These range from Jazz bpm in house key to rhythmic electronic music and deep tracks to old school ones.
He’s supported such various artists as Surgeon, Dvs1 Wighnomy Brothers, Onur Ozer, Guy Gerber, Konrad Black,Fabio Della Torre, Ivan Smagghe, Sasha Dive.
At the moment, he's working on various house and techno projects with prolific music label THE FLAME RECORDINGS alongside other projects outside Puglia like IL FRAGOLIZE in Florence and Neapolitan label DEEPENDENCE!

BIAGO LANEVE bio:
Biagio was born in Taranto in 1988, after many years on the dancefloor, he decided to collect vynils and to engage with the art of djiing.
Admirer of the house and Detroit techno sound, in 2006 he reached Clorosynthesis consolle and Guendalina's terrace, where he had the opportunity to listen to many international artists and to improve his musical technique. Winter of 2012 was the turning point because Biagio became resident dj of Sound Department, a new project born in his hometown.
Here Biagio increased his range of experiences and emotions, taking part to high artistic quality parties with international guests like Levon Vincent, Ame, Tevo Howard and others. Biagio released his first work as a producer, in collaboration with his friend Andrea Ferlin on What Now Becomes, a sub-label Sleep Is Commercial.
