- Very Tall Stories are one of the most exciting new acts in future soul and reggae, and they are bringing their sounds all the way from New Zealand to the Queen of Hoxton on the 13th March 2014. Celebrating the launch of their debut LP "Be Cool Make Love", released in March 2014 on BBE Records, the Fat Freddy's Drop-esque seven-piece have already achieved airplay across New Zealand and Australia with their first single. Very Tall Stories add a new flavor to the New Zealand music scene with a fresh perspective on the Kiwi soul sound. They have been described as future soul that is somewhere in between Marvin Gaye and JDilla, and the group seamlessly infuse reggae, hip-hop and funk into their soulful sun-drenched melodies.
