That's right, the Fetch the Vibe team is announcing an exceptional clubbing event! After an extremely relentless and long-standing pursuit of the best available date, the great RICARDO VILLALOBOS will visit our clubbing cathedral exclusively and for the first time ever performed in Slovenia.
To experience his magnificent performances, those who know and adore his sound have to venture abroad, most likely to elaborate summer festivals or to the island of Ibiza itself, which was dubbed by Ricardo as his third home after visiting it for the first time in 1995. His appointment book simply can’t handle abundant demand and so for the past couple of years Ambasada Gavioli had to wait in line with the rest of them. But no more.
So who exactly is this gifted Ricardo?
As one can read in his biography, he first came into contact with diverse sounds of music thanks to his father, who enrolled him in a Brazilian school of samba early on. Who knew that a young and enthusiastic percussionist would slowly develop his innate sense of self-expression and steer towards electronic music out of all of the genres? His move from Chile, where he was born, to Europe (Germany to be exact) has tremendously helped this inexhaustible explorer of music genres develop into one of the most hailed names of electronic scene today. He checked his first club performance off in 1988, when he performed with an enviably broad spectrum of music, which is still his signature trait today. The first release followed just a few years later, which coincided with him becoming popular in two cities, Darmstadt and Frankfurt, but for completely different reasons: the older generations who were a part of it all still remember stories of organizing those first parties in abandoned buildings or simply under bridges all around Frankfurt and their eyes light up as they reminisce.
Before Ricardo hits the stage on Saturday night, April 22nd, the mood of the Ambasada Gavioli’s main dance floor will be set by one of Slovenia’s favorite DJs, Valentino Kanzyani.
The upstairs smaller floor will be taken over by the young talent and Ambasada Gavioli’s own resident DJ Alex Cvetkov who will be accompanied by two DJs from the Purosangue team coming from the neighboring Italy, Gaf and Tommaso Bernardi.
This will undoubtedly be the event to of this spring and we think we can all expect a record number of visitors flooding this historic club.
