WORLD PREMIERE, SYDNEY EXCLUSIVE
Britain's renegade 50-piece Heritage Orchestra present an epic electro-orchestral tribute to the 'godfather of EDM' – bringing Giorgio Moroder from the club to the Concert Hall in a specially commissioned performance.
Following their critically acclaimed Australian debut with Live_Transmission: Joy Division Reworked and Music from Blade Runner, the Heritage Orchestra will now traverse a lifetime of heaving dance hits – from Donna Summer's disco domination and the euphoric non-stop mix in From Here to Eternity to the gangster-defining Scarface theme and the Academy Award-winning score for Midnight Express.
**** 'Lush and monumental...’ – The Times UK on Live_Transmission: Joy Division Reworked
Celebrated as the man ‘everybody calls Giorgio’ in his scene-stealing spot on Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories, Moroder’s key musical motifs and signature synth melodies will now be reborn as a time-hopping tribute to the dance legend – drawing from an astonishing 13 studio albums, 10 soundtracks and 200 gold and platinum discs.
