We have some unfortunate news to break today. After a fantastic launch event at Vibe Bar on Brick Lane, we won't be allowed to continue our Someday series of events there. This means we've had to find a suitable replacement venue, that fits the Someday brief, at super short notice.
We also have some great news - we've found one of the most exciting spaces we've come across in a long long time. The stunning Old Baths complex in the heart of Hackney Wick will be our home for this Sunday's party with Claptone, Krankbrother, Bad Apple & Ketoloco so the party will go on despite out setback! It has a beautiful double height music hall with full length windows allowing sunlight to flood in and a second 'gallery' space which is also lined with majestic skylights provides that daytime vibe. It also has a huge outdoor terrace, perfect for the Someday party ethos. Whats more it's only 5minutes walk from Hackney Wick Overground Station.
REFUNDS
We apologise for the inconvenience this may have caused some of you having to adjust your travel arrangements and everything else that comes with a venue change. This was out of our control but we hope we have given you enough notice and that you are happy with our superb replacement space. If not RESIDENT ADVISOR will be issuing full refunds to ticket holders PRIOR to the event only.
THE LOCATION
We know it's a hassle changing venues but it couldn't be avoided and the replacement is really easy to get to. The Old Baths is exactly 563 metres from Hackney Wick Station on a street called Eastway. It takes less than 5minutes to walk and it's along just one road as you can see from the map.
Bus Routes - There is a bus stop right outside the venue and the following buses serve it: 26, 236, 276, 388. The 388 bus goes from Liverpool Street through Shoreditch and Bethnal Green before reaching the venue on Eastway. It comes from Stratford in the other direction.
JERK CHICKEN SHACK
Just as we had planned at Vibe Bar we will be bringing in our trademark Jerk Chicken stall to the Courtyard at The Old Baths. So for all of you who feel a little peckish during this 11 hour session! TUCK IN!
OUTDOOR TERRACE & COCKTAILS
In fitting with our original plan for Someday our new venue has a next-level outdoor terrace area. As well as the Jerk Chicken Shack, we'll have some out door bar action with cocktails and more you can sip your mojitos under the sun. And, as you can see, we have cover just in case it rains. The music from the main hall will be fed out onto the terrace area so you can get your groove on too! NICE.
