- 5 years back Half Baked started as a party on a sunny Sunday afternoon in an arched car park in East London. From the very beginning it became something that became very special to everyone, known for a crowd of friendly faces with big smiles, the illuminated bicycle hanging from the ceiling, the Half Baked sign decorated with flowers and of course great music. Despite now being five years older, that magic from those very first parties still exists today as we’re sure many of you will agree. Throughout the past 5 years Half Baked has spread far and wide, from showcases right across the world in some of the most renowned venues and beautiful locations to the relatively recent addition of a vinyl only record label releasing the music we love from our closest friends and family, all whilst continuing the parties in our home - London. Slovenian DJ and producer Valentino Kanzyani is a man who is very hard to pin down to one particular genre or style. A brief flick through his various releases since 2000 sees Valentino exploring all areas of house and techno and this is demonstrated perfectly in his DJ sets where he floats between different musical styles with ease. Those who have ever caught Valentino playing will know he certainly does not disappoint and we’re very excited to be inviting him over to play his debut at Half Baked! Half Baked resident Greg Brockmann had a storming summer and was in top form playing both for Half Baked but also the many other parties that he played. With this is mind and also with his first releases coming out in the next few months, you can be sure that Greg is not someone you’re going to forget about any time soon! Berlin resident and Club der Visionaere regular Lorenzo Chiabotti is a man making London Half Baked debut.
