Here at Cabin, we’re thrilled to be announcing our fourth night at Rhythm Factory. Firstly, we want to say a massive thank you to everyone who has supported us thus far and all the guests who have come down and helped us make every Cabin electric. Cabin is a not-for-profit organisation, and anything we make goes straight back into the next night for your enjoyment. With that said, on May 16th we shall bring to you some artists who we’ve had our sights set on for quite a while now to provide a party of great scale.
Alex Coulton will be making the trip down from Manchester to grace us with his excellent selection - an artist well known for the unique and immersive atmosphere he crafts in the dance, as well as his skilfully programmed and pulsating productions. Having released on labels such as Dnuos Ytivil, Horizontal Ground, Hypercolour, Idle Hands, 2nd Drop, All Caps, Black Acre and his own Syndrome Z, he has generated huge attention and following with his every move. With support from DJs such as Gilles Peterson, Benji B, Surgeon, Mosca, Tessela and Szare, we know for certain that Rhythm Factory will be buzzing on this May Friday night.
Arkist will also be heading down and we're super excited to have him joining us. Haling from Bristol, his unique production style of 'Melodic Funky Bass driven Electonica' holds something completely of its own. With releases on such grand labels as Applepips and Hotflush and his sets said to be notoriously eclectic, we're looking forward to seeing him rip up the Cabin floor with those carefully selected slices.
To host room 2, we are delighted to be welcoming back Stray Landings. Through their brilliant show on RinseFM, epic compilation releases and roaring acclaim and recognition from having made The Guardian’s ‘Music Blog of the Week’, the guys at SL have shaped up to be an extremely influential voice for electronic music in the capital and beyond. If their outstanding performances at their previous Cabin room 2 take over is anything to go by, we’re in store for a polyrhythmic industrial rollercoaster of techno.
