As momentum grows for Southampton’s first ever dance music festival, Junk Department announce three colossal after parties for their epic Big Top party on Saturday 3rd May...
As the dust settles at the circus big top, the action will move to nearby Southampton city centre, where the first of two after parties takes place at Junk Department's infamous stomping ground TRiPP (formerly Junk); awarded ‘Best Small Club’ by DJ Mag last December.
Leading proceedings through the darker hours is Apollonia co-founder Shonky. His distinctive disco-tinged sound is merciless to the dancefloor and has seen releases on respected labels such as Culprit, Crosstown Rebels and Spectral Sound as well as his own Apollonia. Joining Shonky is Junk Department favourite Laura Jones; taking the party from day to night, for her second set of the day, she will be joined by long-time collaborator and Irish mainstay Gavin Herlihy, himself a constant feature on the scene since first releasing back in 2006. Ibiza regular Bones rounds off the bill alongside respected residents Luca Pilato, Jody Hannan and Rhymos, who're definitely no strangers Junk’s party ethos and will be pushing the night to it’s limits.
