After an explosive return to form with our last party, Rework are very excited to announce the details of our second event of 2014... We will be revisiting the Plan B basement, a lovely intimate venue in Brixton fitted with a Funktion One Soundsystem.
Joining us for our second adventure will be Nu Zau and Archie Hamilton - two young innovators who promise to gift us with an absorbing blend of electronic music. Needless to say we are extremely proud to have them both on board.
NU ZAU (all inn black / aertenum)
Hailing from an 'underground hood' in Bucharest and growing up being influenced by the early Romanian hip-hop culture, you can feel the old school vibe pulsing through his sound. Expect deep, winding, minimal sounds with an acute attention to detail and an ever persistent groove. Already a highly accomplished DJ and producer on home turf - we are very excited to welcome Nu Zau for a rare trip to London.
ARCHIE HAMILTON (moss co. / memoria)
Archie Hamilton is the London based DJ/producer forging his own distinguished sound.
He has released on much respected underground labels such as Fear of Flying, Tzinah, Moral Fiber and of course his own imprints, Moscow Records and Moss Co. Along the way he has gained strong support from the likes of Marco Carola, tINI and Robert Dietz amongst many others. Archie’s intelligent DJ sets interpret a hypnotic trip through house and techno, with deep rolling bass and groove.
Rejam Soundsystem (rejam)
Fresh from playing room 1 at fabric we will be joined by Rejam Soundsytem, owners and residents at the excellent rejam parties.
Rework residents Jackson Blumenthal, Loren Heer & Bryn Critchard will be providing support on the night.
