Atlantic I/O is a high profile trans-Atlantic collective that brings together master musicians from Ireland and America for a refreshing dive into the Irish Tradition, via jazz, funk, pop and electronica. Featuring the olllam, Pádraig Rynne, Jeremy Kittel and Michelle Chamuel (aka Reverb Junkie), this specially commissioned touring project is a 6 month writing collaboration that will showcase in a concert series in 4 venues around Ireland - May 22nd in Dublin’s Sugar Club, Fri 23rd May Dolans Limerick, Sat 24th May Monroes Galway and Sun 25th May Droichead Arts Centre, Drogheda. www.padraigrynne.com/atlanticio
Atlantic I/O is a writing and touring collaboration supported by the Arts Council’s Touring Award / Traditional Arts and has been funded for its ambition to contribute to the development of new, young and urban audiences for Traditional Irish Music.
