- Stepping up a notch with another premier on Dutch soil. It's Joe who will take you on a new adventure. Accompanied by our bearded friend Presk, we will explore the raw and rhythmic border within the drum-heavy ZickZack sound. Joe [UK], Hemlock Chapter / Hessle Audio Joe’s strike rate is one of the best around, constantly kicking against the boundaries of what dance music’s supposed to be without ever losing sight of what makes clubs tick. He chooses the space to carve out his unique rhythm patterns. Listening to one of his records loud is a physical thing; somewhat hypnotic in pressure, they're all built for big rigs set in enclosed spaces. Heavily supported by the likes of Pearson Sound and Ben Ufo. Presk, Ten Thousand Yen / Audio Culture Presk likes to import elements of both London’s off beat garage sounds and Berlin’s hypnotizing techno drive, adding a bit of his home towns love for disco and house and molding it into a unique sound of his own. ZickZack Soundsystem Amsterdam's ZickZack soundsystem is formed by three DJ's. The sound is "percussion-heavy-music". A musical journey from 'Boogie' to 'Deep' flavoured by the traditional cultures of Africa, the Caribbean and South America.
