May 23rd at the fully rejuvenated and always firing EGG Presents night is to be headlined Bontan, Cozzy D, Michael Jansons and more.
Hailing from the North of England, music has always been a major part of Bontan's life. Nowadays he has released on labels like labels such as MTA, Toolroom, Pura and Great Stuff and has had countless Radio 1 plays, support from the likes of Pete Tong, B.Traits, Bondax and Pleasurekraft and so it's safe to say Bontan has stapled himself as a name to look out for on the underground circuit.
As well as producing his own jams on labels like Lower East and Akbal, London’s Michael Jansons has also produced for others on labels like Hotflush and Hot Creations. His ‘I Know You’re Feeling OK’ track climbed into the Top 10 on Beatport and it’s easy to see why given its delightful house vibes. Support from the likes of Breach, Darius Syrossian, DJ T. and Maya Jane Coles have all come in for this assured talent.
Cozzy D, meanwhile, just had a killer new track called ‘Parts Unknown’ drop on Dirtybird, is soon to release once more on the Lower East label he runs with Lee Brinz. It’s a fine outlet for contemporary, refreshing house sounds and has found favour with DJs and punters everywhere. Also founder of the Crèche night, Cozzy knows a thing or two about DJ sets!
