It’s with great pleasure that we announce one of our most anticipated acts yet, Sex Tags’ DJ Sotofett.
Spawned in 2004 out of the small coastal town of Moss, Norway: Sex Tags Mania and its various offshoots and subdivisions have garnered a cult-like following in the international community for their distinct and unorthodox visual style, attitude and sounds. With brother Fett Burger, Sotofett operates the Sex Tags, Sex Tags Mania and Sex Tags Amfibia outputs along with the Wania label on his own. The labels’ warped anti-consumerism vision and penchant for the weird and interesting have kept the record buying public on their toes for the past decade with the scattered Sex Tags family discography spanning house, techno, disco, surf rock, dub, psychedelia, lo-fi experimentalism and instrumental hip-hop amongst others.
Production-wise, Sotofett has many collaborative efforts under his belt. Having recently worked with Gilb’R, Madteo and Fran Benitez amongst others, along with his buy-on-sight remixes, solo releases and Bhakti Crew projects. As a DJ, Sotofett navigates through the classics and leftfield, traversing house, disco, techno, jungle, early street techno trance and more.
