Pigon are Phillip Sollmann (also known as Efdemin) and Oliver Kargl. Efdemin studied electro acoustic recording in Vienna where he met art student Oliver Kargl, also known as DJ Rndm. Together they are involved in music production and performance, and the development of the 'Rocker' software drum machine. Most of Pigon's tracks are made live with simple edits of endless sessions in the studio with their self programmed 'Rocker' software. Influenced by Detroit, Pigon are always looking for the perfect loop with subtle variations to the single instrument. Little Albion Street is the first release on the world famous and much loved Dial Records (Berlin). A lot of their productions focus around deep minimal house, but after their debut on Just recordings in 2006 their sound begins to nod towards the deeper side of techno, focusing on classical deepness compared with rhythmical shifting patterns.
