S.A.S.H with Phil Kieran & Rebekah

  • Looking back on the absolutely manic few weeks we’ve shared, we thought it a little inappropriate to just go back to our regular program without throwing one last cherry on top, courtesy of two of house and techno's most highly regarded internationals on the same week! Phil Kieran and Rebekah. A dear friend of ours and one of Sydney’s best exports, Dan Baartz returns to our shores for a brief period of time packing a bag of new gems acquired overseas while Kerry trades in his slamming tunes for a more restrained two hours of serving out High Tea this weekend. This week, S*A*S*H plays host to: Phil Kieran Phil Kieran has been in the upper echelons of the electronic music game for more than a decade and well known for rocking clubs and releasing a string of killer twelve’s. Belfast-based Phil has hooked up with German powerhouse, Cocoon in recent times for the release of his groundbreaking first album. With close to 250 tracks across over 100 releases, his name has been stamped across the face of electronic music far and wide becoming one of the most influential producers and players around in recent years. Rebekah Highly regarded for her driven and high energy techno, she’ll be showing a slightly more low key and melodic side to her sound without losing any of the qualities she’s become so renowned for. Anyone that has seen her play out live knows firsthand that there are no gimmicks or clichés about this producer/dj, just unadulterated raw talent and a passion for the music she plays and creates. Dan Baartz Returning to our shores for a brief period of time, it was too hard to resist getting the ‘We Like..’ headliner in to play before he jetset’s off overseas again. Recently receiving huge accolades for his production work, getting played by some of the most prominent international acts, expect the same high quality from his sets as well! Kerry Wallace We’re used to seeing Kerry bang out high energy bass loaded tech house chugger sets without ever a moment of dropped energy, but this week his toning things down to under 120bpm to deliver a more soothing two hours of tunes to get things training along to start another week of mania.
