From hardcore techno beginnings to the massive electroclash success found with Miss Kittin, Michel Amato aka The Hacker sits amongst techno royalty as one of electronic music’s most innovative French artists - a category rammed with legendary names - for loyalty and dedication to his aspirations over a career spanning two decades without relent.
Finding influence through Kraftwerk, new wave visionaries The Cure, Depeche Mode and French rave scene of the early 90’s. Michel founded his first label Goodlife nearing the new millennium after classic Detroit styled releases on Ozone & Interface before the electroclash craze emerged and his project with Miss Kittin exploded worldwide cementing him as one of the most sought after producers in the industry. After extensive touring, releases continued to flow true to his path on Mental Groove, UMF, Dancefloor Killer, Sativae, Missile, Rotation and Tiga’s revered Turbo imprint.
It’s now in the present day that Michel’s new label Zone extends the legacy releasing Gesaffelstein, Maelstrom, Louisahhh!!! and Djedjotronic upon the minds of a new generation. The Hacker, the icon, the legend, The Boss is coming to our social club May 24 for one of the most significant events you will attend in 2014.
