Carrying on with the humongous success DPM is having this summer we are more than excited to announce part 3 of this 4 part series. After this one, there is only one more left in August, so if you haven’t had your DPM fix do then what are you waiting for and to those of you that been to both… well I am sure you will not be missing this one! For your ears only we have a very special set of headliners gracing the DPM 1’s and 2s :
DALE HOWARD (Get Physical, Noir, Area Remote, Gruuv)
2012 was a break out year for Dale Howard. With releases on Noir, OFF, Morris Audio & Local Talk Dale Howard’s name has become synonymous with top quality house music gaining support from the likes of DJ Sneak, Luciano, Reboot, Solomon, Dyed Soundorom, Dubfire and Groove Armada.
Hard work in the studio has paid off, now half way through 2013, Dale is enjoying his most successful year yet as a DJ. With productions often featuring in Beatport’s Deep House Top 20 chart and future releases on Gruuv Records, Morris Audio and numerous other labels 2013 could be year where we see Dale flying high in the Deep House charts once more, after seeing early productions almost reaching the summit, charting at number two and three.
RUSS YALLOP
Few producers of recent years have exploded onto the underground house scene like Crosstown Rebels’ Russ Yallop. While some producers spend years finding their feet, Russ made a clear statement of intent with ‘I Can’t Wait’ his debut release on Crosstown Rebels, a solid cut of nu-school house that was charted across the board by everyone from Jamie Jones to MANDY, with ‘Rock Me’ on the B-side was picked up by DJ Mag and featured on their ‘Best of British’ covermount compilation. 2011 was a huge year for Russ with releases on Crosstown Rebels' Rebellion, Hot Creations, No.19, and Foot & Mouth under alias B&B. The success of the releases as well as hugely popular podcasts for Ibiza Voice and Pulse Radio took Russ around the world last year, playing in destinations such as Brazil and Japan, with festival booking's such as Mexico's BPM and the UK's Secret Garden.
Long-time friend and now a fully-fledged member of Crosstown Rebels, Russ Yallop has been biding his time, honing his production skills for the last few years. Part of a new breed of DJs, with studio skills to match, which includes his close friends Lee Foss, Richy Ahmed and Robert James, Russ Yallop’s sound is infected with warm charm and boundless energy. Fusing fun into dance music again, Russ and his UK-based peers are creating a new strain of house music that is currently taking the worldwide underground by storm, promising bright things for the future.
GUS & BONSO
The Athens-based dj duo Gus & Bonso was formed in early 2007.Their experiences in electronic dance scene and a music style that leads in an accurate and modern track selection is what they aim to keep up in the greek dj circuit.
During their partnership,they can look back on the biggest clubs all over Greece.To name a few: Animal club (Athens), PIXI (Athens), Six D.o.g.s. (Athens), Blend club (Athens), Sixx - Playground (Athens), Barrage (Zante), Cabaret (Athens), Cavo Paradiso (Mykonos), Katavothres (Kefalonia), Cariocas (Schinos), Dybbuk - PlusX (Athens), Fuzz (Athens), Motel / Letom club (Athens), Mamacas (Athens), e.t.c
They also had the honour of playing alongside international djs and producers such as: Steve Bug, Matthew Jonson, Tiefschwarz, M.a.n.d.y, Booka Shade, Adam Beyer, Guido Schneider, Dj T., Nick Curly, Terry Lee Brown jr, Timewriter, Anja Schneider, Format B, Russ Yallop, Hot Since 82, Fur Coat, Matthias Meyer, Sebo K and more.
In 2012 they made their first two international appearances ("Jimmy Woo" club, Amsterdam/NL - "The View" beach bar, Brighton/UK) with great success. In 2013 they appeared at Larnaca's best beach club, "Ammos" in Cyprus.
At this time they have two tracks and one remix released. The first "On The couch" as part of the v.a. compilation "Rhythmetic 024 Sampler 2012" in collaboration with Thodoris Triantafillou on Rhythmetic records. The second track "About you" has released in May 2012 on Quantized music, as well as the remix on Nikolas Gale's "Seduction Ep".
