Minimal Fuss have announced that Akufen will play their party The Pube at the Civic Hotel on Friday 25 July. The following night, Saturday 26 July, Akufen plays at Ffour in Melbourne.
Way back in 2002, Marc Leclair released 'My Way' under the Akufen name and received accolades for its micro sampling and assembling technique. He's gone onto record under numerous aliases - Horror Inc, Anna Kaufen, Reno Disco, but he's best known for his work for labels like Perlon, Force Inc, Trapez and Musique Risque as Akufen that's attracted attention in minimal and techno circles.
RSVP early for discount entry ($10 - [email protected]) or show up on the night and pay $15. Akufen will be supported by Declan Lee, Matt Aubusson, Dave Choe and Le Brond.
