- The Chicago-based electronic musician, producer and DJ known as a pioneer in the footwork genre, founder of TEKLIFE, and often associated with Hyperdub Records, DJ RASHAD sadly passed away on April 26th, 2014. To celebrate the inimitable producer's contribution to music we're blessed to tribute his legacy with the following artists proudly purveying their influences of Rashad and footwork in general: Able 8 (The Operatives/Uncomfortable Beats) Bevin Campbell (PBS) B.O.O.M.A Fletch (RRR) Friendships (LIVE) Simon Winkler (RRR) 2fuddha (All Good/One Puff) Wooshie (This Thing) A percentage of proceeds will go to Rashad's Family.
