- After a roaring outdoor party on Australia Day, Parkside takes over the Illawarra Courtyard once again this Queens B’day Long Weekend with Berlin-via-London house don Jay Shepheard. Bursting onto the scene with a string of high-profile EP’s for Compost Records, Jay Shepheard has continually proved himself a step ahead of the norm. Drawing together threads from disco, classic house and futuristic techno, his releases (on labels including Pets Recordings and his own Retrofit) received strong support backed up by DJ skills felt from Berlin’s Watergate to NYC’s Sankeys and beyond. Having just released a debut album ‘Home & Garden’ on his Retrofit label, the man brings his inimitable sound for a Parkside to savour. Backed up by Parkside DJs and some special guests, this outdoor smash will be felt long after the evening.
