- smalltown returns to mark the special occasion of yet another year in the queen’s innings and more importantly celebrate a well deserved public holiday with a day party. The matriarchs birthday celebrations in the smalltown of Melbourne are now moving into their third year, with past artists including Chris Liebing (twice), Robert Babicz, Jimmy Edgar & Kaiser Disco. smalltown are proud to announce that the next act to add to this list will be Ejeca with his debut Melbourne performance. A teenage fascination with production culminated in early releases such as the limited edition, vinyl-only Tusk Wax Five EP, and his work with fellow Northern Irish, Bicep on AUS. It took 12 long years of hard work, but his big break finally came in late 2012 when two of his tracks were named 'Essential Tune of the Week' on Pete Tong’s BBC Radio 1 show. He has also recorded a podcast for XLR8R in early 2013 adding to his already successful career.
