TOP CAT (9 Lives/Congo Natty)
Top Cat is one of the most talented MC's to come out of the UK. With a career spanning 25 years which include over 13 number 1 singles, 2 National top 20 hits, MC of the Year 4 times and the only MC to hold MC of the Year in both the reggae and the jungle scenes at the same time his achievements as an artist are undeniable. Top Cat has also excelled as a producer producing his own tracks as well as other artists such as Tenor Fly, Nerious Joseph, Baby Wayne, Simpleton, Mike Anthony and many more cover the years. His productions have also seen him win Record of the Year at the Reggae Music Awards in 1995. A pioneer in the UK urban music scene Top Cat's vocals have been highly sort after and were used in the creation of the jungle scene and also the speed garage scene, the latter leading to the first top 20 garage tune to hit the charts in 1997 paving the way for an influx of many other mainstream acts after. As an artist Top Cat is dynamic both on record and as a live act and has performed all over the world to many a large audience from the Far East, to the USA to Eastern and Western Europe to the Middle East.
At the turn of the new century Top Cat took a break from music to deal with personal affairs, returning back in 2005 with the massive jungle hit “Everyday” with Shy FX and the remix by Chase & Status with whom he went on to have another hit with “Just Come Back” in 2006 and then their remix of his reggae and jungle hit “Roughest Gun ‘ark” which topped the BBC1 Extra DnB charts. In 2009 Top Cat released the album "Champion DJ" for all the Junglist crew and in 2010 "Cat A Log In" for all the reggae and hip hop crew. In 2012 Top Cat released the album set “Outta The Catacombs” that featured collaborations with David Boomah and also Ras Demo (Demolition Man). The later was remixed by top UK Junglist producer Aries from Chopstick Dubplate for the album “Cat Inna Jungle”(2013) that was also released on Top Cat’s own label to coincide with him celebrating 25 years in the music business for which Top Cat toured the UK doing shows in England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland as well as Japan, performing in Hakodate, Nagoya and Tokyo. The tour peaked at the O2 Arena where Top Cat headlined the prestigious Jungle Mania promotion held at the Indigo.

Marcus Visionary (Digital Soundboy/LionDub International, t Necessary Bass)
Dj/Producer Marcus Visionary has been in the game for over two decades representing Jungle Dnb as well as a variety of british bass culture music. Marcus prides himself on clean mixing and is well known for his musical versatily and keen ability to read any crowd. In his hometown Toronto, Marcus has been running the Prophecy on 89.5 FM for 19 Years. The program is North America's longest running Jungle DnB radio show and has been a integral part of the city's developing bass music scene.
On an international level Marcus is fortunate enough to be a part of Shy FX's Digital Soundboy family since 2005. As a producer Marcus has worked for several high profile lables such as Revolver, 31 Records, T.O.V, Flex, Play Muzik, Shout, Co-Lab, Dance Rock, Rocksteady and many more. In 2010 he released an experimental double LP entitled 'Carib' (via Liondub) which stayed at #1 on Juno download for 6 weeks. In 2011 he released his first solo Jungle LP entitled 'Humble' which featured many veteran reggae artists such as: Johnny Osbourne, Bunny General, Sugar Minott, Pad Anthony, Jah Dan, Terry Ganzie, and Messenger Selah.
In 2014 watch out for numerous projects forthcoming on Necessary Bass, Liondub International, & Inner City Dance.
LIONDUB (Brooklyn, NYC)
DJ Liondub comes correct. An authentic product of Brooklyn, his musical mindset was formed at the crossroads of major international bass vibrations originating from Jamaica, NYC and the UK. Inspired by the global rhythm culture emanating from the streets beneath his feet, Liondub has spent a lifetime pounding that very pavement in pursuit of his passion for bottom-heavy beats.
