Audio preview (20mins): https://soundcloud.com/thetrailertv/sets/premiere_ecoute ________ The Trailer TV is a fortnightly foray through the world of electronic music, from the confines of a lorry trailer next to Deptford Creek, broadcast live to the world. At just over one year old The Trailer has welcomed innovative artists and producers, some large; others on the rise – from DJs Rashad and Spinn, to Manni Dee and Eagles For Hands. A collaborative effort from 8 serious lovers of all things electronic, TTV is all about showcasing the latest talent coming through, via interviews and videos, and of course an epic free party. ___ Chris Read: Chris will be opening the night with a serious selection of hiphop, funk, soul, boogie and related beats and jazz based music he's been carefully collecting for over 20 years. He came to prominence as a club DJ through his 10 year role as resident DJ and promoter of Substance (one of the UK's largest and longest running hip hop and funk nights) and his 2 year spell as mix DJ on BBC Radio 1Xtra. A key signing to UK labels BBE and Breakin Bread, a steady output of high profile mix albums, remixes, collaborations and productions has allowed him to DJ around the globe. Artists Chris has recently collaborated with, produced and remixed include DJ Spinna, Oddisee, Lizzy Parks, Myles Sanko and many more. DjRUM: We are extremely proud to present you the almighty DjRUM fresh from his new "Miracle" dual EP on 2nd Drop. The UK label are calling it his third "suite" for the label (following Mountains and Watermark), and it goes on to say that it includes "pulsing technoid flourishes" and "echoes of Krush-style hip-hop and forward-thinking drum and bass." The other two tracks are each said to touch on the "interplay of delicate keys" and "thumping techno," respectively. We’ve been huge fans of DjRUM since he came into our world nearly three years ago. After several releases and remixes, he’s taken the leap to album territory with the release of “Seven Lies”, his first LP (cf. Audio Preview above) Sieren: Sieren is the maiden name of Matthias’ mother and also his current alias under which he started to release his first free tracks in 2011. Rumour has it that he has a dark secret history of producing experimental techno, albeit his love for UK influenced bass music existed for more than one handful of years. It was not until recently that he began to make the most of his love for field recording and experimental soundscaping and is now throwing his full force into music, while simultaneously finishing a university degree in computer science and design before moving from small town to métropole to follow a new set of challenges and advance to the next stage of his life. Doctor Jeep (NYC): Andre, aka Dr. Jeep, coming all the way from New York City will be closing the show for us. His undeniable talent evolves with his sound and he’s truly found his sound in a world where so much music sounds like the next record. His latest is a four-track EP through Trouble & Bass called Vortex, which came out last week (cf. Audio Preview above). _
