ASIAN-PACIFIC PLATE!
In the year 2007 the cologne based writer and dj legend HANS NIESWANDT went for a travel through south-east Asia, Australia and New Zealand to research on the electronic music scenes in those countries. In cooperation with the German Goethe Institut he then organized a big cooperation between the artists and from those countries and some of the big names in Germany like TRICKSKI, TURNER, GEBRÜDER TEICHMANN, LOSOUL and many others. Result was the Asian-pacific plate!
As a starter the foreign artists came to Germany to share time in the studios with the German artists and this led to some extraordinary reults musicwise. As the second course the German electronic artists went to the hometowns of their former guests and continued their cooperative work with the local artists there.
The results were shown live at a legendary show in Cologne at the c/o pop 2007 and shall be released on CD eventually this summer. With the release there will be two more live shows featuring more or less all the artists involved: one in Cologne and one in Berlin at the Killekill Club.
To list all the label references of all the artists would definitely be too much here but you can be sure that there will be the finest in electronic music whether from Germany or from the asian-pacific plate.

Am 20. August haben wir etwas sehr besonderes zu bieten im KILLEKILL CLUB: Wir präsentieren den Gourmets des Berliner Nachtlebens die asia-pazifische Platte!
Zur Vorgeschichte:
2007 begab sich der Kölner Autor und DJ-Legende HANS NIESWANDT auf eine Recherchereise durch Südostasien, Australien und Neuseeland und organisierte anschließend im Auftrag des Goethe-Instituts eine umfangreiche Kooperation zwischen den spannendsten elektronischen Musikern dort und einigen der ganz Großen hier in Deutschland, u.a. CONSOLE, TRICKSKI, LOSOUL und TURNER.
Ergebnis war die asia-pazifische Platte: Im ersten Gang wurden deutsch/asia-pazifische Paare gebildet und die ausländischen Künstler nach Deutschland in die Studios der deutschen Künstler geladen, um an gemeinsamen Produktionen zu arbeiten. Im zweiten Gang wurden die deutschen Elektronik-Künstler in die Heimatstädte der beteiligten Künstler geschickt und es wurde weiter an den musikalischen Kooperationen gearbeitet. Die Ergebnisse sind nun gesammelt auf CD erschienen.
2007 gab es bereits eine legendäre Auftakt-Show im Rahmen der C/O POP. Zum CD-Release werden nun die ausländischen Gäste noch einmal eingeflogen, um in Köln bei der C/'O POP 2008 sowie in Berlin im KILLEKILL CLUB aufzutreten.
Die gesamten Labels und andere Referenzen der beteiligten Künstler zu listen, würde sicher jeden Rahmen sprengen. Klar ist, dass hier zahlreiche Künstler der Creme de la Creme der elektronischen Musik anwesend sind.
