DELTA is a new music sequential event that aims to bring a true Berlin vibe to Rijeka, a historic port town, located where the river Rječina flows gently into the Adriatic Sea. It all begins in July 2014. when Rijeka will be taken over by some of the most influential names in the Berlin underground electronic music scene at the debut of DELTA.
DELTA is a music series with a difference, presenting purely underground music in revamped historic industrial venues that will bring the true feeling of Berlin to Rijeka, the city that is known for maintaining quality in the regions underground electronic music scene.
For the first two editions of DELTA in July, the Exportdrvo warehouse in Rijeka port will be transformed into a Berlin-style club, with world-class technical production and – most importantly – international guest DJs. The first weekend of DELTA from July 11-12 will showcase artists from Berlin’s Mobilee Records and the city’s renowned Watergate club, while the second edition on July 25-26 will feature artists from Berlin’s legendary Berghain club and its sister label, Ostgut Ton.
Apart from these influential international artists from Berlin, DELTA also solidly supports the home-grown talent of Croatia, and some of the region’s top local DJs will be always be performing supporting slots at the events. Also, keep your eyes peeled for announcements about official boat parties being held in conjunction with the debut of DELTA in July, as well as further DELTA events in the future - and always expect the unexpected.
The first weekend of DELTA at the Exportdrvo warehouse in Rijeka will showcase artists from Berlin’s Mobilee Records and the city’s renowned Watergate club.
Mobilee Records, which was founded in 2004. by Anja Scheider and Ralf Kollmann, has helped shape the sound of modern electronic dance music with a distinct sound and a stable of artists that has grown to include the likes of Maya Jane Coles, Pan-Pot and Rodriguez Jr.
Joining Rodriguez Jr (live) and Ralf Kollmann for a night of the label’s signature sexy and tough tech-house and techno will be Re.You and Lee Van Dowski, plus a the very special SECRET guest that is now know as Ms. Mobilee herself.. ANJA SCHNEIDER.
Added to the line-up is a special birthday DJ set from Rijeka's own Miss Soulfly.
