Studio Barnhus is many things – a DJ trio, a record label, a studio on Barnhusgatan here in Stockholm, a big blob of vivid colour splashed right onto the grayscales of modern dance music.
As a DJ crew, Studio Barnhus has created havoc in dodgy gin joints and blooming warehouses from Budapest and Barcelona to Tokyo and New York. Expect a perfectly organized mess of avant-garde techno/house, small but sweet glimpses of pop heaven, and italo disco b-sides when 1/3 of Studio Barnhus, Petter Nordkvist enters the booth.
Niklas Paus is most likely the busiest dj in Stockholm with an impeccable taste for deep underground music, all the way from Disco to Techno.
He has held a residency at F12 since many years and played at Berns and FAB05, the biggest nightclubs in Stockholm. He has played before- and with djs such as John Digweed, Kriss Wadsworth, VRIL, Ralph Lawson, Adam Beyer, Sascha Dive, TRIPEO, Alexander Berg, Joel Mull, Radio Slave and Dj Kaos to name a few.
