- The Rockhal is proud to present multi Grammy and Oscar-winning synth-disco legend Giorgio Moroder, making his Luxembourg debut and providing fans with the unique opportunity to get up close and personal with the "godfather of electronic dance music". As a composer and producer for artists such as Daft Punk, Donna Summer, Freddie Mercury and being the man behind the soundtrack of Flashdance, American Gigolo, Top Gun, Scarface and Metropolis he literally left his mark in music history. The master of disco and precursor of electronic music will be at the Rockhal on 10 July 2014 for a mythical DJ set, presenting his greatest hits which have made the entire world dance for more than 30 years! Before his show in the evening, the remarkably multi-faceted artist and producer Giorgio Moroder will hold an exclusive Artist Talk at Music & Ressources Rockhal in which he will reveal the different steps of his prolific career in the music business. German vinyl-only DJs The Robot Scientists will warm up the crowd with heavily Moroder-influenced contemporary synth disco.
