Following on from the announcements of the Burn Out Festival Summer series at the Northern Quarter’s Kraak Gallery, we are pleased to announce the end of summer party at Manchester’s iconic Victoria Warehouse on Friday 29th August. The 8-hour event will feature an array of genre defining acts in the fields of Hip-Hop, Grime and Electronic music. Heading up the event we welcome English born Hip-Hop artist MF Doom. The alt-rap Icon, who famously dons a mask for performances which he states allows a limitless capacity for braggadocio and storytelling, will be performing tracks such as cult classics: ‘Doomsday’, ‘Rhymes Like Dimes’ & ‘Go with the Flow’ Live. Next up we welcome one of the most recognizable names and faces within the underground music scene; Preditah. With 6 EP’s under his belt and a ton of remix work, it’s quite impossible to listen to the radio or go clubbing without one his tracks blazing through the airwaves or tearing down a dancefloor. Having caught his big break after his track ‘The Big Wok’ caught JME’s (Boy Better Know) attention it wasn’t long until the rest of the UK stood up and listened to the Birmingham based music producer and DJ, who also tours internationally as Skepta’s tour DJ. Having taken the Grime scene all over the world, recruiting an army of ardent followers, fans will be pleased to hear that scene veterans, Newham Generals will also be joining the Burn Out Festival line up. Comprising of two of the most respected and critically acclaimed underground acts in the UK today, D Double E & Footsie have consistently forged new styles and concepts throughout a career spanning three decades including chart topping albums such as ‘Bag Of Grease’. Paleman is up next to join MF Doom and more at the Victoria Warehouse and as one of the most devastating producers of this year, attendees can expect a full on set with echoes of the Hacienda & Paradise Garage via Garage & Deephouse. His style is heavily influenced by Jazz, African, Techno & House music, meaning his sets are truly unique & not ones to miss. Dubstep pioneer, UKG stalwart & Swamp 81 Records head honcho Zed Bias will also be taking to the decks on Friday 29th August. Cited as ‘always moving with – or ahead of – the times, his track ‘Neighbourhood’ is widely regarded as one of the all time classic UK Garage tracks and his more recent productions feature heavily on the playlists of Radio 1 DJs Annie Mac, Benji B, Nick Grimshaw, Giles Peterson & Mista Jam.
