Kicking off the first of what is hoped to be a semi regular night at the Poetry Club, local lad (though now in Bristol) Marco Bernardi performs live with Perseus Traxx.
No DJs, just two guys, a gaggle of machines and manipulation possibilities playing their own material and seeing how things flow as they manipulate frequencies and sequences, improvising as they go, unified by their knowledge of machines and the 32 track mixing desk that lies between their respective hardware.
With Marco's releases on labels such as Frustrated Funk, Créme Organization, Clone, Planet E, Rawax, Harbour City Sorrow, and Royal Oak, and Perseus' catalogue appearing on his own Future Flash imprint, the world renowned Haag cult label Bunker, Chiwax, M>O>S, Skylax and BOE Recordings; as well as the range of aliases the pair have used, there can be no doubt at all about the pedigree of sound quality and skill brought to you by such a pairing.
This is one for anyone who likes to get down, Dutch West Coast fanatics, hardware freaks and fans of stripped back raw machine funk. An experience worth getting out for, and a spectacle definitely not to be missed.
