An obsessive way of spinning records. and this is
exactly how you could describe the way Mick Wills plays. Mick is not an entertainer or superstar, but one of the few true artist dj’s left, someone for whom the music is still
all that matters.
With germany not big enough anymore, ‘The EX- Gigolo From Porschetown’, spins blistering sets in places as diverse as Mayday in Dortmund, Barcelona’s Loft, Trouw in Amsterdam, Moscow,Kazan and St. Petersburg Russia, London, Athens, Budapest, Bucharest, etc. his sets mix the best of over 25 years of dance music in a way that few disc jocks can, effortlessly switching between the cutting edge of today’s sounds and vintage chicago, detroit, italo, hi nrg, wave, acid and electro. Wills is a true music freak, an avid record collector and really does play like every night is his last. His aliases side projects involved with Nation are: Quid Pro Quo with Traxx and MomO. He's recorded and remixed and done edits for several labels like Minimalrome,Signals, and Rat Life.
BEAU WANZER
the 3rd lieutenant and scientific musik head from our Nation who has always been in close ties to the soul of our syndicate since the very beginning has his debut release dropping this week on a special limited 10 inch vinyl...he's 1/2 of Mutant Beat Dance with Traxx and solo artist for the label as his main home turf where he roams.
TRAXX
There is nothing about Traxx and his prolific musical output, both as a producer and label curator that is easily categorized. Witnessing him manipulate vinyl records and mixer knobs is a self evident spiritual experience, one of illumination, truth, emotional depth and suspension of time. There is no one else who is doing, or can do what he does. A true avant grade artist.
