Vrijbuiters go Berlin Underground - Connaisseur & Hello?Repeat

  • On the 25th of October the über-exciting Amsterdam Dance Event will cumulate into an appropriate climax through the ‘Vrijbuiters go Berlin Underground’ indoor festival at Studio K, Amsterdam’s latest hot-spot. Four areas of high-profile electronic dance music, hosting massive line-ups plus extended opening hours. Yup, yup, 10 p.m. till 11 a.m. baby! Let’s call this barely-legal hedonistic pleasure, aaight?! With the upcoming edition of ADE 2008 in perspective, Earth bookings, Lofarmedia and the international highly regarded Resident Advisor present an impressive indoor festival in the east of Amsterdam, located within minutes from the city centre. By merging the ‘Vrijbuiters’ and ‘Berlin Underground’ concept, the biggest artist line-up of the week will be presented at Studio K. The entire scale of contemporary electronic music will be covered: from cutting edge house, to techno, to minimal, to cosmic-disco. We are proud to present this indoor-festival in Amsterdam’s new sensation Studio K. This impressive classic rebuild building was set up to host a multi-facetted strain of cultural expressions like dance, theatre and cinema. More than 25 Dj’s, live-acts and a collective of multi-media artists are scheduled to perform, all spread throughout the three dance-halls, mega-chill-out & corridors, from all-out raving to an ultra-chill ambiance. Musically there are way too many prominent names on this spectacular night to sum up; however, here are some highlights: German labels Connaisseur and Hello?Repeat will present the vanguard from their artists’ shed like Estroe, Afrilounge & Mark August amongst others. Two of Holland’s biggest live-talents ‘Olene Kadar’ and Sandrien will do exclusive showcases of their new material. Exclusive early morning sets will be rocked by Bart Skils and Ille Bitch and Jan Krueger and Daze Maxim, Berlin’s uncrowned kings of the eclectic side of minimal-techno will provide intense and highly anticipated Dj-sets -- do NOT miss them! So, time to drop a record-breaking number of national and international artists on one location, and see them perform within a timetable in which opening hours are stretched to the limit! In a nutshell: 13 hours of festi-fun, an absolute multi-disciplinary indoor fête, definitely sun-drenched, more than 25 artists, 4 areas, clean & free toilets, a mega chill-out, multi-media performers, Studio K -- one of Amsterdam’s finest locations, Berlin meets Amsterdam; a great event with an intimate twist.
