- Last time Shed took charge at Bloc was when he and Marcel Dettman DJ'd shoulder to shoulder back in 2010. Since then he's changed the way most ordinary people think about industrial bass by releasing the terrifying LP 'The Killer' and rocking out a decidedly different kind of rave with his Head High alternate identity. Berlin based techno superstar Function has been rocking our worlds in recent years as one half of Sandwell District - so you can understand our giddy enthusiasm when it was suggested Bloc play host to the debut live set of his brand new collaboration with Ed Davenport - Function Inland. The new material they've been issuing on the revived Infrastructure New York label has been enhancing our lives all year. Manning the rearguard, we have brand new techno from a brand new person - Mancunian Alex Coulton is going to be one to watch, not just for Bloc but for generations to come.
