Having trolled every back alley, forgotten and unnoticed venues across Sydneys cityscape, there was one venue which stood head and shoulders above all else, Home nightclub. With a late license, a picturesque setting, two rooms, two terraces and a dark yet warm feeling, it’s the perfect homestead for our Sunday digs.
We’ll be commandeering the entire top level, in both rooms and terraces with the stunning surrounds of Darling Harbour as the backdrop. We are also taking our crisp big purple Funktion 1 sound system and cramming it into Home’s trademark and truly special glass room + we’ve ripped out their Dj booth & built from scratch our own brand new one to suit the S.A.S.H style.
Please note the entrance to S.A.S.H will be via the escalators near the fountain & Black Bird Café half way down Cockle Bay Wharf – not from the front or side entrances of Home Nightclub Sydney, which will allow direct access to the Terrace
Not ones to do things half arsed, we’ve recruited a small army of talent to help launch our new stable in style. Claire from Uk act Him_Self_Her will be taking out top honors amongst all four of our residents, Jake Hough, Gabby, Matt Weir and Kerry Wallace. Adding to this, a man who needs little introduction, Robbie Lowe, the impeccable duo of Mesan, connoisseurs Garth Linton, Rabbit Taxi and Benji and you’ve got a lineup of rather large proportions to give our new Home the welcome it deserves.

Him_self_Her
Hailing from Leicester in the UK, the astute combination of Claire and Leon came together after perfecting individual skills for many years in their local scene. All that it took was one studio session to realise they were a complementary union; and what a union they are. With a gaggle of hugely successful releases on numerous highly regarded labels, Claire will be swapping her production skills for a Dj set in our Home warming party.

Robbie Lowe
With a career spanning over two decades in Sydney’s music scene, Robbie has planned and meticulously honed his craft to the highest echelons that few will ever reach. Not content with simply putting more gigs under his belt, Robbie has approached music surgically with the sole goal of perfecting it… has to be said, nothing is perfect, but he’s pretty darn close!

Gabby
Having recently returned from Europe with a host of new music under her wing, she’s blown off the cobwebs and kissed the Flyover farewell in style last week. Now welcoming in our new Home with her trademark technicality, Gabby’s presence and sound is immediately felt and hopelessly contagious, so definitely wear your dancing shoes.

Jake Hough
It’s not every day you get the opportunity to jump on a plane, fly to another country, drain a resort pool and throw one hell of a party, but that’s exactly what our man Hoffy did last week alongside captain, Kerry Wallace. In New Caledonia to be precise! Rounding up the last of our four residents, you can be sure they’ll be painting the place black and yellow in true S*A*S*H sound.

Mesan
Two of the warmest dudes around, George and Sammy have an understanding of music that few could attempt to replicate. Enveloping their crowd with song selections of only the highest quality from the first bar, their ability to guide and direct the audience to intimate and emotive places without ever losing energy makes them one of Sydney’s highest quality acts.

Garth Linton
Supporting acts quality acts the likes of Michael Mayer, Kerri Chandler, Carl Craig, Nick Warren when they are in town. Rabbit Taxi
Hands down one of the best things to have come out of the US, Ryan’s music bag contains an absolute smorgasbord of tasteful surprises. From minimal and moody dub numbers to upbeat, colourful and melodic tunes, his ear covers pretty much the entire colour spectrum. Definitely worth the ride.

Benji
Chip off the old block, Benji is one of the driving forces behind the Saturday day party, Chipped. The vinyl junkie is driven by the crate digging process for rare gems, limited releases and truly unique sounds. Not content with simply piecing a set together Benji always delivers something distinctive and personal.
