For some, it's the underground headliners while for others, it's familial vibe. And while he likes the sporty theme, she loves the chance to play dress-up. It's hard to describe how over the past seven years one event has come to mean different things for different people, but what has kept the tradition going can be summed up in two words: Allstar Spirit.
On Sunday, August 24th, Varsity Allstars will once again descend on Chicago, and this year they are excited to host MVP Konrad Black! Just like the Varsity event, Konrad's career has been multifaceted, driven by his passion for the underground. Whether in his own production work or the many remixes he has done for artists such as Audion, Azari & III and past Varsity MVP Troy Pierce, Konrad infuses his techno with a signature funk that is infectious! Joining Konrad will be Varsity Allstar Dory and they both will be complimented by some of the best local talent the city has to offer.
As always, sporty gear is encouraged, SPF recommended, but this year it's all about the flotation device because...we're on a boat! We hit the open water at 5:30PM and will return sharply at 10pm. This will be a pre-sale only event and limited tickets will be available on Resident Advisor.
