With Nightvision promising to bring a varied and genre-defying programme to Edinburgh, their second night does not disappoint. Following their bass-infused debut show, next up is Saturday’s showcase of the very best in deep house and techno, with non other than the Russian queen of the dancefloor, Nina Kraviz.
With a huge love for Chicago house and Detroit techno, Kraviz’ hunger to dig deep into the genres of both is what her sets her apart from the rest. Keen to educate her fans on her musical inspirations from past and present, her unique sound and uncompromising attitude has led her to become one of the most sought after artists across the globe.
Next up on the bill is the legendary DJ Sneak, aka the self proclaimed ‘House Gangster’, who is billed as one of house music’s true pioneers. Helping shape the course of electronic music since the 90s, his early days saw him influence the likes of Daft Punk, Basement Jaxx and Armand Van Helden. Expect to hear his signature sounds of funky filtered disco-influenced house and tough, jacking beats for one truly special night.
Finally on the bill is London institution Enzo Siragusa, who has built up a huge following over the past decade on the club circuit. Having launched his own brand and label FUSE in 2008, Enzo’s sounds naturally developed into a unique dub-house movement, merging house, dub, techno and everything in between to a very loyal fan base in the English capital. Now expanding worldwide, Enzo is playing at prestigious places around the globe alongside industry heavyweights Loco Dice, Richie Hawtin and the Circo Loco crew.
