The feelings disco returns, Saturday 16th August for an outdoor event which will see us channel the classic Balearic sounds across day into night with a special appearance from the godfather of Balearic beat, DJ Alfredo - a man that helped shape Ibiza and rave culture as we know it today!
To help re-create that special Balearic vibe we will be taking over one of our favourite indoor / outdoor East London venues, ‘Shapes’ in Hackney Wick! We’ll be decking the place out with palm trees and summer vibes, we’ll have the BBQ hot plus a great selection drinks, cocktails and a few other surprises up our sleeves!

During his residency at the now legendary Amnesia club throughout the 80’s, Alfredo soundtracked the white isle’s most decedent period and inspired the likes of Danny Rampling, Andrew Weatherall, Paul Oakenfold and New Order to bring back the vibe he created and go on to kick-start one of the most important music movements of the last 30 years, Acid House. He crossed genres from house to hip hop, from rock to reggae, from soul to samba mixing records in a way most hadn’t seen before with only one rule, can you dance to it?
“My definition of Balearic; its a music mostly, eclectic, happy, sexy, not cheesy, that gets its roots in the origins of dance music and flourishes on the dance floor, as a sound that makes you forget genres, or categories and you just enjoy it, listen to it, dancing and sharing it. To give our balearic disco that extra boot we have gathered together some of our favourite selectors in Dan Shake, The Menendez Brothers and Kasra V to join Alfredo. Holding it down between will be feelings residents, friends & special guests!
