On Sunday 26th September 2006 we held our first Ketoloco party in the basement or our student digs in Headingley, Leeds. It was a one-off Ibiza reunion for the many amazing people we'd met during the summer season on the white isle. Kicking off at 6am it was also an unofficial carry on for Back To Basics and 150 people showed up to party. 2020Vision boss and Basics ressie' Ralph Lawson came down and had to play. It became pretty infamous, pretty quickly and we had to do it again. Paul Woolford, The Italoboys, Buckley, Tristan Da Cunha, Shonky, Simon Baker, Burnski, Dave Beer & many many more played our basement before the boys in blue brought it to an abrupt end and they were truly some of the best times we've ever had.
On Friday 26th September we will have been throwing parties for 8 years which is unbelievable. We also welcome back a regular face from those early basement days and a regular at Ketoloco more recently too. We're stoked to be seeing in our birthday with Mr. Bonar Bradberry, one half of PBR Streetgang and We Love Sundays ressie. Hope to see some old and new faces as we celebrate at one of our favourite haunts the Basing House next month. Expect birthday treats and surprise performances from old friends. Keep it loco. x
