ABOUT SAMUEL KERRIDGE:
Samuel Kerridge surfaced in late 2012 with a remarkable and self-assured debut on the ultra-picky Horizontal Ground. This didn't go unnoticed by Karl O'Connor, and Samuel joined Downwards. He followed with two critically acclaimed EP's and a tectonic shifting LP 'A Fallen Empire' in late 2013.
Kerridge has found a perfect home for his highly original productions of unfettered sonic exploration, re-defining the relationship between rhythm and sound design with decimating kick drums and feedback, and unearthly amounts of distortion until you're left with a dripping, toxic style of techno.
It’s not from Detroit, but it’s more about where Kerridge is at – creating seductive, darkly soulful music.
Samuel was raised on Electronic music, starting with his first turntables at the tender age of 14, owing it all to his parents who jumped onto the UK Acid house scene in the late 80's.
