It seems as if we are paying off a historic debt to Àlex Martín. If our memory doesn’t fail us, we’ve had him at the club once or twice, but not enough over the last few years for someone who is one of the top techno creators in the country; a man who took part in the very first Sónar festival, appeared on the legendary compilation Disco 2000 and, during the nineties, was one of the few Spaniards putting out material on European labels. This May we began to put things right, inviting him to DJ, but tonight don’t miss the most authentic Àlex Martín, with his analogue machines in an all-live performance. As he now seems to have returned to producing with a will, we hope to hear some of his new creations and unforgettable classics.
