We don’t know whether to present today’s guest as a DJ or an agitator, even though the organising he does while he spins discs is purely for party purposes. It’s something common to the people of Tarragona, or at least the ones we know, who treat every night as if it was the last time the clubs were going to be open. DJ Figa is something like the unofficial resident DJ of Palmfest, a small festival that usually brings together little treasures of pop. “And what’s a man like that doing in a techno club like ours?” the more sceptical among you will ask. Well, don’t worry, because Figa’s musical vision is ferociously eclectic and open, and when he really turns his mind to electronica he is capable of turning out some surprising sessions that leave you thinking “How does that man mix this with that?”. Well, DJ Figa does it, leaving you with a smile on your lips.
