The professor is finally back after too long an absence, and he arrives determined to make up for lost time. His Soundcloud is steaming with sessions, productions and recommendations and he has revived old finds Bongo Lounge, who livened up the wilder nights of post-Olympic Barcelona, with the new Milkshake Experience parties, shared with his regular partner. And, although he has slightly changed his name – because before it wasn’t exactly Professor Angel Sound – we believe everything obeys the old Lampedusan strategy of changing things so they can stay the same. In his case, that means livening up the atmosphere with house mixed with funk, Latin, black and disco rhythms, supplied by a man who has these sounds in his blood. Funk is back in Barcelona.
