Friday October 24th is going to be a special one at EGG as it sees the leading London club welcome back a regular guest and firm favourite in the form of Hot Natured man and Hot Creations boss Lee Foss, with Low Steppa and Robert Outch also playing.
Lee Foss was part of a new wave of American DJ to usher in the post minimal years back in 2010. As everyone grew tired of dark, drab, dry and abstract techno, the Chicago DJ and producer emerged with a creamy, deep house sound. Releasing on labels like Culprit and Wolf & Lamb he now famously set up Hot Creations with English cohort Jamie Jones. Of course, that pair, along with vocalist Anabel Englund and producers Ali Love and Luca C, also set up live outfit Hot Natured. It has already spawned an album and now tours the world playing to huge audiences everywhere from WMC to BPM, fabric London to Ibiza.
A dexterous DJ, Foss has also been snapped up by legends like MK to work with him on new material alongside vocalist Anabel Englund, continues to release summery, creamy, deep house and disco jams and is one of the most in demand selectors of the day.
Low Steppa needs little introduction. Since the early years of this millennium he’s been producing some of the finest bass music around under various guises, whilst touring the globe and rocking some of the world’s best parties – from EDC in Los Angeles to Womb in Tokyo. His own imprint Simma Black Records is going from strength to strength, with Simma Black releases becoming a staple in many a DJs crate. And with his own Simma parties packing clubbers in, Low Steppa certainly is a busy guy!
Lastly, Love Fever’s Robert Outch will be bringing a crate of rarities and the usual disco madness with him to complete this great looking and even better sounding party.
